Yawl House is a luxury high specification home built for a private client.
The exterior fabric of the property has been carefully designed and constructed to fit in within the local coastal setting. Using a mixture of traditional and contemporary materials including, natural roof slates, weatherboarding, through colour render and large powder coated aluminium windows and doors.
Construction was made all the more challenging due to the sloping nature of the site and as access was via a bridge with restricted access and a 10 ton weight limit. During the build, over a thousand tons of soil was removed to allow for piling works to commence. The building needed to be built to a high specification and standard due to the exposed costal location.
