Previously the Canterbury Hotel, the existing building has been extended and refurbished to change the use to provide commercial office space.

The works were carried out over three phases. Phase 1 was to overhaul and repair the external fabric of the central (existing) building comprising re-roofing, façade repairs, brickwork blasting, and general joinery repairs and re-decoration. Phase 2 added two new four-storey wings constructed to seamlessly blend in with the existing central building. The final phase was the internal refurbishment of the building to convert the hotel bedroom layouts into office space over all four floors.
