S. T. Abbott Ltd have a wealth of experience in both contracting and Design and Build industrial work.

In addition to traditional forms of Industrial construction such as structural steel frame and cladding, we also have expertise in the more specialised fields of industrial building work. At St Regis Paper Mill a 1923 spalling concrete floor was broken out and replaced immediately above a continuously operating paper mill which only needed debris the size of a penny coin to stop the paper making process.

Our operatives were working in temperatures of 40 °C and a humidity approaching 100%.

At the same time we developed a painting system together with Sigma to go on wet steelwork with minimal preparation and inert to all the electric motors around it.
