Highland Court Farm, Canterbury
This design and build project provides 25,000 square
feet of new storage space.
The existing site was cleared and existing slabs were
site crushed and re-used to reduce costs for the Client.
The new building is a traditionally built steel framed
and clad structure including aluminium windows, insulated
access doors and jumbo stud fire separating walls.
The original contract was not phased but a phased
handover was accommodated due to the Client securing
an early tenant for one of the two units.
External works comprised 21,000 square feet of structural
concrete hardstandings, a 2,000 square feet road widening
scheme to provide a HGV lay-by and 120,000 square feet
of landscaping, planting and grassed areas.
The contract was completed in 24 weeks and under budget.
Client: Highland Court Investments
Value: £1.1 million
