S. T. Abbott has a commercial portfolio that ranges
from working with Banks and Building Societies in their
refurbishment programmes to building new Ambulance Stations.
We have been involved in the construction of new car
showrooms and a national refurbishment programme of
petrol filling stations / car showrooms. We have also
built new office facilities through to High Street retail
units. Our in-house Joinery department assists with
specialist shop fronts and the fitting out of retail
space as well as providing a general joinery service
which includes windows, doors and reception counters.
Recent commercial experience includes:-
- Extensions to premises and refurbishment over 4
floors converting a previous Hotel to provide new
offices accommodation at New Dover Road, Canterbury.
- New retail units, fitting out and residential accommodation
over in Palace Street, Canterbury.
- A large retail unit in High Street Sittingbourne
where Halifax have relocated.
- Conversion and refurbishment of the Coach &
Horses Public House in Harbledown, Canterbury.
